Whether or not you believe in the theory of sound body, sound mind, it has certainly paid off for CMO Chris Vitrano. Because this workout warrior’s marketing mind is unparalleled. Chris has more than 20 years in the business spanning a wide range of public and private sectors, including publishing, health care, food, manufacturing, government, technology, outdoor recreation, financial, professional and social services. His experience includes strategic-driven sales and marketing communications, brand consulting, creative strategy and account planning and management. In past lives, Chris held creative director positions at two Chicago-based publishers, as well as senior management positions with several Milwaukee agencies. As an integral member of Nelson Schmidt, Chris leads the agency’s internal marketing organization and acts as “NS Ambassador” to engage local, national and international business audiences.

Chris is a retired competitive cyclist, but you can still find him pushing the pedals all over the city of Milwaukee. And when he’s not on two wheels, he’s in his running shoes getting a few quick miles in before breakfast. Even when traveling on business, he never forgets to bring his running shoes as a way to get a rush of feel-good endorphins and experience the local sights of the cities.
